The HHV ATE® Lite is an ultralight ballistic helmet that doesn't sacrifice protection for weight. The helmet shell (1.6lbs) is made up of UHMWPE and aramid fibers, and utilizes our patent pending Micro Lattice Pads to increase comfort and decrease backface deformation. Proudly made in Sweetwater, Texas the ATE Lite is the next generation for the ATE lineup from Hard Head Veterans.

Start by wrapping a measuring tape around the circumference of your head, just above your ears and eyebrows. Where the tape overlaps is your measurement.
No measuring tape? No problem! Use a piece of string to mark the overlap, then measure the string.
Use the size chart to find where your optimal tactical helmet size should be.
Also, don't worry if you choose the wrong size. We offer an easy exchange policy!

Ballistic Helmet ATE® Lite HHV

I've waited 4 years to get a helmet from HHV and I finally worked up the courage to get the ATE LITE. It did not disappoint very customizable, more confortable then the IHPS helmet, and the company is very thoughtful and helpful honestly just a couple chill dude's.
Best tightening system I've ever bought
Superior padding eliminated that built up sweat in the padding that pours when you put it back on, cold sweaty feeling at night when they wake you up & it's your turn on the gun. Truly the best bang for your buck.

Don’t regret a single penny. Best ballistic helmet I’ve worn in quite a long time. The magnetic connector for the chin strap may not be for everyone but I’ve had no “accidental un-straps” so far. But other than that not one single complaint. The Micro-lattice and chin strap is incredibly comfortable and secure compared to the padding and retention system used on a traditional ACH or “k-pot” platform. Team Wendy should take notice, these dome caps are TOP OF THE LINE.

The helmet came nicely wrapped and without any scratches. Although it already came assembled, the 2 upper chin strap retainers were set up at different heights, so I had to disassemble it and put them evenly. Also, some of the multi-cam pads are already peeling out even though it's brand new. The velcro attached to the cushion pads do not completely match with all the velcro inside of the helmet, although they seem to hold on good enough. Just minor details here and there, but other than that, it seems like a solid helmet, and very lightweight too!
