Pop Out Rail Adapter Kit -Fits Peltor, 3M, and other helmet headsets.
The Pop Out Rail Adapter Kit works directly with our M-LOK helmet rails. Precision machined from aerospace grade aluminum they are rugged and robust. The pop out feature allows the user to "pop" the headset off the ears for venting and donning. They allow the user to seamlessly integrate hearing protection headsets or communications systems (headset guide) directly onto helmet rails. This eliminates the need for an uncomfortable strap underneath the helmet that eventually creates hotspots and headaches.
*Important* Every head shape is different. You will need to bend the wires to fit your head shape in order to get the correct seal and pressure with the pop out feature. Ensure to watch this video on the install! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AsvlgAqee_g

Pretty close right out of the box but I bent the wires a little more using a bench vice to get a better seal to my ears. Running these with Walker Razor Electronics on an ATE Bump.
The left side adapter has a little bit of trouble locking out between its two positions, but customer service was perfect as always. They told me I could replace it now or later on if it causes me trouble. Definitely would recommend
I got these rail adaptors after running their low profile adapter for a year, and having had enough dealing with the previous design coming off the mlok slot after several uses since it relied on a single mlok to keep it in.
Compare to the other design these hinges stays put better with two instead of one mlok to keep it in, and it was easier to rotate the earmuffs back since it pops out.
However, it also occupies the entire lower mlok section and leaves only the one mlok slot for other accessories (if you use their helmet), and I miss running an admin light when running in low light condition.
It took me a while to find the right light that'd work for these rail adaptor. But after all said and done I found Monstrum F50 has the profile that just clears the hinges when you rotate them, and it's only $15 on eBay. My only gripe is this light takes CR2 battery which is not very common where I live.
For the Magpul M-Lok helmet rail system these are the best pop out rail adapters for hearing protectors. I tried several others before getting these and these are the only way to go!
I ultimately like the product but I think it needs more said about the fact they are meant as a multiple brand use product. Meaning not just for one brand or style. Taking that into account you may have to really do some serious modifications that most people aren’t going to be able to do and are going to be unhappy. I would’ve still bought them knowing what I know now but it took some bending to make them work and they still aren’t quite perfect yet. Going to have to wear them and get it dialed in. They are the most slim ones on the market. They are quality made too. They just require modifications on your end depending on the product. You may even have to buy more products to make it work.
