Ballistic Helmet ATE® GEN2 HHV

Finally got a ballistic helmet went with HHV because of the price, took a bit of time for proper adjustment, not sure if it supposed to be completely snug and not moving or what - recieved a hand written note after purchase very personable

If you are looking for a ballistic helmet go with the HHV ATE gen2 while they are available, I have a feeling gen 3 will be coming out soon, take advantage of the current price. It’s a very comfortable helmet, i got the low profile headset adapter (they don’t pivot but, I prefer that option because the headset are always on in the correct position) and the pads are neoprene like wetsuit material so they won’t be rock hard in the cold like other pads. The chin strap is nice, still need to try and get used to it before thinking of swapping it out. If you are a active duty or a veteran, reach out to HHV prior to ordering for a small discount code. If you don’t have night vision, hold off until you get a helmet from them bc the Armasight discount is pretty insane. You’ll get additional promotions from HHV that are good but I think the Armasight one was the one worth mentioning.

My 4th hard hat but first Hard Head Veterans. I’ve had gov’t issued all the way to some of the brand name ones we are bestowed upon with simply searching tactical helmets online. There’s a difference between people who think statistically and ones who know what criteria needs to be met when it comes to protecting that bean sitting on our shoulders and the helmets we choose. I’m ecstatic with my latest investment with HHV and their Ballistic ATE GEN2. Threw my NOD’s on. Gave a few moments to fitting my bean up in there and spent the night on coyote control. It’s well balanced to start off with. Got the new mesh I found which I will say I’m bald so that bean cap It came with really helped but down here in the south florida weather that mesh is something else. I did mix match however because I like a low rise to how the helmet sits but wanted to utilize the mesh also which worked out perfect because I did get the 3/4” mesh. It kept my bald head cool. Hands down I will never get any other. At 54 this will probably be my last. Unless I am unloading the wagon and my kid drives over it. True story. My fault but this is why they eat their kids in the animal kingdom. Let me add their customer service is fast and knowledgeable. I reached out for a few fun facts from them and within the day had my answers. Worth every dollar I spent. There’s quality on every cm of this helmet. Almost like it’s hand made. just what i expected , a good platform to start from
