- Start by wrapping a measuring tape around the circumference of your head, just above your ears and eyebrows. Where the tape overlaps is your measurement.
- No measuring tape? No problem! Use a piece of string to mark the overlap, then measure the string.
- Use the size chart to find where your optimal tactical helmet size should be.

FAQs
Is this a safety helmet or a hard hat?
It's both!
How can it be both, aren't they different?
No, the important thing to understand is the actual safety rating a helmet achieves. In the USA, most companies and OSHA are moving towards ANSI Type II rated helmets with a chin-strap.
Is this an ANSI Type II rated helmet?
Yes! A type I helmet will only protect against against crown impacts and typically lack a chin-strap. The Kevy being a Type II Safety helmet also protects from front, back, and side as well as from the top impacts.
Can I attach stickers to this helmet? Why the VELCRO®?
Of course, but now you can also utilize velcro patches. This keeps your helmet clean and easier to inspect.
The hook and loop, or VELCRO also makes it easy to add high visibility and even reflective patches to the helmet. Whenever needed.
Can I customize these for my company?
Yes!
We have multiple options depending on the size of the order and amount of customization you need.
Option 1: Custom leather, fabric, or PVC patches with your company logo or slogan. Best budget option
Option 2: On orders of 250 helmets of more we can offer custom paint options of just about any single color.

Is the chin-strap removable on the Kevy Hard Hat?
No, and we do not recommend cutting it off. Chin-straps secure a helmet to your head better than anything else. Most job sites and even OSHA will most likely require this in the near future.
To help with this, you can wear this chin-strap either on your chin, or under it.
Your boss will thank you, your friends will thank you, and most importantly your family will thank you if you keep that thing buckled.
Since it's made with Kevlar®, is it bulletproof?
While this helmet uses the same material as our ballistic helmets, it isn't bulletproof due to the need for more layers and weight. However, it offers excellent abrasion and heat resistance, enhancing the helmet's overall durability.
What are the mounts on the helmet for?

We utilized the most common mounts from the tactical industry for these helmets. Mounting flashlights, hearing protection, face shields, and more just got a lot easier.
