Nice but…

Over 20 years in the US Army wearing the Kevlar skull crushing headband, to the ACH/MICH pads it is an improvement. The Micro Lattice Helmet Pad is a neat design, however it is NOT worth the price. The lattice itself was okay but the velcro pads are something compared to an IKEA felt sticker for the bottom of a chair or table. Over priced. HHV needs to use industrial felt or velcro with industrial glue. This will not work once hard wear and tear occur.

Hi Jason, did you clean the helmet prior to installing the pads? This is a vital step to insure good adhsion of the velcro! If you need more velcro, please just shoots us an email!

Absolutely love how cool it keeps my head, and holds up very well! Definitely recommend getting this! This product is extremely comfortable and well designed!

Awesome product, just a hassle if you loose the headband. Without the headband, the pads feel uncomfortable and leave marks on your forehead or scratches.

A good investment

While many would be hesitant to spend $200 for helmet pads, I too have been there. But these pads are well worth the cost and the best and most comfortable helmet pads I've ever used. Wish I had these back in OEF 2003. ****, wish I had these back in Basic when we were rocking the old PASGT and the donut foam cushions!

Theoretically awesome

I really like the idea of this, it creates a huge open airspace, which should allow airflow. However, as strange as it is, it seems to feel warmer on my head, perhaps because the rubber or plastic of the mesh or honeycomb itself is a thermal insulator being plastic and rubber. at the points where the plastic touches my head it feels warmer. I will have to take the helmet out into a windy environment to see if it feels better when there is airflow, but it feels a bit warmer than the padding which came before.

Hi Tyler, I'm wondering if they might be compressed a little too much? You might want to try the 3/4' if you aren't already!
